Camp Acorn’s Leaders in Training program is designed for youth ages 13 to 15 who are ready to build confidence, leadership skills, and real-world experience in a supportive camp environment.
Participants learn teamwork, mentorship, and responsibility while gaining hands-on experience helping younger campers thrive.
Our newest program will be running two sessions this summer. Participants have the option to choose:
- Session 1: July 20 to 31
- Session 2: August 10 to 21
Disclaimer: While LIT is designed to be a two week program, ongoing assessments will occur over the first week to determine fitness to complete their placement week.
The 2 week LIT program includes:
- Standard First Aid Certification
- High 5 Certification (Principles of Healthy Child Development)
- Leadership field trip
- 30 hours community service
Cost: $445 (subsidy and campership options available)
